CHALK ART: "Postcard #17"

I finally got around to finishing my latest "Postcard #17". This one took about 12 hours or so to complete (all day today, and about half of another day). I got some "thank you artwork" the other day in my door from some "mystery fans" (aged 4 and 2). It still feels good to give the neighborhood a reason to smile a bit...especially in these crazy times.

CHALK ART: "Postcard #16"

It's been 10 months since my last "Postcard to the Neighborhood". Yesterday, I finally broke through the creative malaise caused by Covid, rains (which will erase chalk art), excessive heat warnings, health issues, boredom and a general mindset of "I don't feel like being creative today." I'm hoping I've turned a corner, and will get a little "zip" back for a season. I've included a couple of pics from inside my garage where I drew the "Hydrate" chalk-art as I listened to the "Average White Band" and the "Greatest hits of James Brown".

It's time for a new "postcard"...#15 in the series. Fortunately, I've found that most people I've encountered this crazy year have tried to remain humane to each other...it's worth the effort, folks.
