Here's my latest sculpture project...a Chinese Dragon appearing from a swirl of smoke. I'm not sure I succeeded in creating what I envisioned in my minds eye. Smoke vapors are not the easiest to sculpt. But I'm pleased enough with how it turned out. It was fun doing the research on the various styles and colors of Chinese dragons. They are considered to be friendlier than Western depictions of the fire-breathing winged sort. I used Ave's Epoxy clay, and Super Sculpey.

Illustration: "Fantasy Game Cards"
In 2019, I got the opportunity to "play" for a bit in the illustration
genre of "Fantasy". My friend Jerry Mosemak has been in the process of
developing a board game called "The Rangers:Rise of War". I was able to
help out a bit and illustrated 15 of the playing cards. It was a lot of
fun designing monsters, dragons, weapons and magical beings for the
game. I'll let you know when the game comes out.
