CHALK ART: "Postcard #19"

 

In spite of the rain we've had this week in Kansas City, I finished "Postcard #19" today. I seem to have a recurring problem with these chalk postcards...I keep getting more complicated with the images, instead of simplifying. That just means it takes longer to finish...but, hey...I've got the time! Enjoy!

CHALK ART: "Postcard #18"

I just finished "Postcard #18" this evening. Since Fall is nearly upon us, it was time for a change on the ol' chalkboard.

 

SCULPTURE: "Mr. Freeze"

It's been about a year and a half since I've felt like sculpting anything. I feel like I'm creatively in a better space these days. So I decided to do one of my "found object" sculpts, and let my imagination respond to junk bits in my studio. I ended up with a "one-off" of one of my favorite BATMAN villains..."MR. FREEZE" with his Freeze Ray.
