SCULPTURE - "Boarbarian" FINISHED

Well, there's not much left to say about this project...except that it's DONE! Apologies if I went into too much detail along the way. Next time, I'll try to be less specific. Big thanks to my daughter Jenni (again) for letting me use some glacier photos from her trip to New Zealand. Enjoy lookin' at this brute...he was fun to make!

Mahon...not a problem. Took me a while to find where you posted it...had to do a word search. Found it under the "Crazy Funny Mini Stuff" section in the Forum...some hilarious posts in there. Nice to be represented over in Poland!!

Thanks, Kris...and quite honestly, I never know what might come out of that head of mine. There's so much room up there in those vast empty spaces!

Excellent paint job! The pic with the glacier background looks great, too!
As for all the details - as an occasional sculptor I enjoy those kinds of details. It's often enlightening to see how others work. Thanks! :)

Thanks, as always, Fitz. I also like the tutorial sites that show the step-by-step process. I have almost as much fun doing the photo collage "poster" of my sculpts as the actual sculpting.

Warren,
I am sorry, I should have sent you a link. Well... maybe the next time.

Yes, the "Crazy funny mini stuff" is the thread I had in mind when I saw that somebody had as funny idea as the whole concept of making a "Boarbarian".
Most miniatures in the thread are not our own works but stuff found in the internet, showing that you don't need to be too serious about miniatures and the whole hobby.

We sometimes share interesting miniatures-related finds on the forum, so that others can enjoy it too.

Our own works are usually posted in the 'showcase' section and we're not all from Poland. Well, the website's team is actually Polish, but most of our regulars aren't. We're simply a community of miniatures enthusiasts and that's it.

I am glad you liked some other works we found and collected :)

Waiting for your next creations :)

Even better with paint!

Believe it or not, Mom...there was a very brief moment where I thought about painting him all red with an "A" on his chest. But it would have sent things in a different direction. (I can always do a color tinted version in Photoshop!)

Big thanks, Justin! I have been so jazzed by your site...your "digital vs. traditional" posts have been fun. You are a very inspirational guy!

Great...Deb sent me the picture of the 'real Boarbarian'. I now have it on my laptop as a background (hope you don't mind). All my Roadhog friends won't to know where I got it. My response is 'I can tell you but then I would have to gore you'.
Keep up the good work on your blog. Thanks...from those of us who can't draw a straight line or open a can of beans.

Hey, Dale! Glad you got the Arkansas version. Heck...I might have to post that one just for fun.

Glad you like following the blog! And I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to open a can of beans...might be better for everyone around you, that you don't. :)

Say hey to the family for me!
