Here
is my first chalk "Postcard" for the new year. It was 50 degrees
yesterday...last night we got a little dusting of snow. I finished up on
the chalk drawing this morning in the garage with a space heater. Just
another January in Kansas.
Here's
my latest sculpture project...a Chinese Dragon appearing from a swirl
of smoke. I'm not sure I succeeded in creating what I envisioned in my
minds eye. Smoke vapors are not the easiest to sculpt. But I'm pleased
enough with how it turned out. It was fun doing the research on the
various styles and colors of Chinese dragons. They are considered to be
friendlier than Western depictions of the fire-breathing winged sort. I
used Ave's Epoxy clay, and Super Sculpey.
